Lead trainer Kate Peterson Koch now holds professional certification

After a hiatus of nearly 6 years, Kate Peterson Koch has passed the certification exam (again!) and now holds the title of Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed. In addition to providing documentation of over 300 professional training hours, the exam covers material on training skills, instruction skills, training equipment, application of modalities (especially learning theory) and CCPDT training policies and position statements.

Kate’s listing now appears on the CCPDT website.

Kate previously certified as a CPDT-KA in 2010 and held the designation until 2013, at which time she let it lapse due to some major life and geographic changes. She returned to maintaining a professional training schedule in 2018 as a member of the training instruction team at Kayenna Kennels, and looks forward to continuing to grow her class offerings and clientele there.
